Seven years later, Peter Pan has returned for the Darlings, but he has aged into an adult, like Wendy. Shortly, after arriving in Neverland, Wendy admits her feelings for him, and they fall deeply in love. Their bliss is interrupted when the Lost Boys announce pirates are attacking the natives. Wendy and Peter set out to distract the pirates, so the natives can escape, when Wendy is shot. She revives to find Captain Hook, but he's not as she remembers, and he tells her Peter isn't either. Battling the confusion and heartbreak, Wendy must decide between the man of her dreams and discovering the truth.
